Sublime Ideas is a dynamic consultancy firm that brings creativity to the forefront of development work. By weaving together diverse perspectives and cutting-edge ideas, we strive to deliver transformative solutions that unlock our clients’ full potential.

We are a firm of not just artists but creative peace practitioners with more than 15 years of collective experience in Conflict Transformation, Transitional Justice and Peace Practices within Nepal, especially guided by the gender lens. Both the founders of Sublime Ideas have Master’s Degree in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies from Cambodia.

Our Proficiencies

  • Documentary Filmmaking: We have the experience of working with Nagarik Aawaz, Tewa and ifa-zivik Germany. The documentaries focused on extremely difficult subject of the effects of armed conflict in Nepal. We have made more than 30 documentaries of 3 to 15 minutes long. The videos we made for Nagarik Aawaz was selected as a finalist twice in United Nation’s High Level Political Forum through Voices of SDG16+.     Likewise, ifa-zivik has produced a short feature documentary by hiring us for video production work directly from Germany. The video will be shortly featured in ifa-zivik Germany’s website and social media pages.

  • Project Design and Planning: We have written proposals for numerous projects designed with sound Theory of Change, activities and budgets which has helped in raising financial support for NGOs. Likewise, we have successfully led projects focusing on building leadership of women and youths in different districts of Nepal. Numerous impact stories were written during the project implementation and completion. We also have experience of working in a diverse team with multiple partner organizations throughout Nepal.
  • Research: Two independent research was conducted. One was on value-based partnership model for conducting peace work. Second was on finding approaches of story collection of women who faced conflict related sexual violence. Both the research was qualitative action research which used desk review, interviews and focus group discussion methods.
  • Non-Profit Branding: Taking a value-based approach, we have created a valuable brand name of organization through brand strategies, visual storytelling (photos and videos), messaging, design language, social media engagement and brand identities.
